Details
This Imperfect Terra 0 Short Articulating Surface Sconce in Sage and Brass featuring an Opal Glass Cover was a showroom display fixture. Our ceramic components are handmade and although we do not see it as an imperfection, the ceramic has a slight variation in tone and the sconce is slightly oval shaped rather than circular.
As this was a display item the brass has begun to patina, which will naturally occur over time and although unseen, the mounting plate at the back has oxidised a little.
Finally, the Opal Glass Cover has a small inconsistency in the opal finish allowing a small amount of light, about the size of a pin, causing light to diffuse brighter than the rest of the globe.
Overall, the qualities that make this fixture a part of our Imperfection Collection are purely cosmetic.
The Imperfect Terra 0 Short Articulating Wall Light in Sage, Brass and Opal features a short articulating arm the light is both directional and functional. The singular domed ceramic fitting creates a controlled light source. The ceramic component is infused with subtle variations inherent in the handmade and made permanent in the firing. The Terra range is our largest, with a wide mix of variations, all bringing handmade elements together to create a unique light feature. Read more about the design process here.
Lamp included is compatible with most brand name dimmers
The articulation joint is designed to be locked in place and not intended to be freely moved. Over-articulation can cause damage to the internal wiring. You can use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen the articulation joint to reposition. Re-tighten the joint with a flat-blade screwdriver when the desired angle is found.
