Description
Each Alison Frith Ceramic Plinth is wheel thrown, with composite pieces formed and joined together. Once constructed, each piece is meticulously turned to reveal an elegant profile. Subtle variations of the hand mean no two items are identical. A selection of clay bodies and studio glazes are employed to achieve multiple finishes.
Size (mm): 240w x 240d x 430h approx.
Each one is thrown by hand so each piece varies slightly in size and finish.
Materials
Dark Stoneware: High fired dark stoneware clay, unglazed.
Satin White: High fired white raku clay. Satin white glaze.
Shibori Blue: High fired white raku clay. Shibori blue satin glaze.
Slate Grey: High fired white raku clay. Slate grey glaze.
Gold Raku: High fired gold raku clay, unglazed.
Blush Crackle: High fired stoneware and raku clay. Blush crackle gloss glaze.

These plinths are hand made to order by Alison in her Melbourne studio so please choose carefully. Unfortunately for this reason we do not provide refunds if you change your mind or make a wrong decision. Production commences as soon as the order is confirmed. This allows us to take a more ethical and sustainable approach reducing the risk of excess unwanted stock and overproduction.
