Timber is an incredibly beautiful and resilient material and has a long life if maintained correctly. As timber is a natural material the shade and tone can vary from piece to piece, this includes both Bleached and Blackened Ash as the stains applied are transparent and variation does occur. We offer this range in four timber varieties as shown below.

Timber laminations which are layers of wood glued together with structural adhesives. This helps to create different sizes and shapes in timber that wouldn’t be easily sourced from natural wood and is superior to solid timber due to its high strength and dimensional stability

Wax is typically used as a sealant, which protects it from moisture and dirt and keeps the timber natural. It's non-toxic, environmentally friendly and can penetrate through layers of wood. Most of our timber items come pre-oiled; however, timber requires a regular maintenance program to maintain its natural shine and prevent it from drying, warping or splitting. We recommend polishing timber products every 3 to 6 months, using a natural beeswax polish to restore and maintain.
