Homewares can also contribute to a greater sense of physical and mental wellbeing. And it’s for these reasons and more, that we take great care in choosing the items that decorate our spaces.

Homewares are often considered an afterthought, but if given proper consideration to the arrangement of space, can enhance the space’s aesthetic value. The most important thing to remember when deciding on home decor is that it must provide a meaningful connection to the overall interior design or architecture. The Homewares section of the Marz Designs Shop shows great affection for organic processes. We have curated this range to combine beautiful forms and showcase uniquely handmade wares – objects that command attention without detracting from the other features in the space, such as the Emma Vase by Israeli artist, Miri Orenstein.

All of the objects in our Homewares carry similarities to our Lighting and Furniture ranges and demonstrate a resounding theme and appreciation for raw materials like brass and clay. Here, they combine ancient techniques or are repurposed in contemporary ways.

One easy way to bring life to any space is to add a touch of greenery. Plants add life to any interior and actually help to filter the air we breathe. The powder-coated Vera Vessel from Lightly and the handcrafted resin Bold Pearl Vase from Dinosaur Designs – both Australian designers – make great ornamental and practical features.
